Gravity may be a force from another dimension.

This award winning film gives a glimpse behind the scenes of building the ATLAS detector.

This film asks: Why are so many physicists anxious to build this apparatus?

Produced by: ATLAS Outreach Committee,  Director: Bob van Gijzel

Will they be able to answer fundamental questions such as: Where does mass come from? Why does the Universe have so little antimatter? Are there extra dimensions of space that are hidden from our view? Is there an underlying theory to find?

Major surprises are likely in this unknown part of physics.
Jerome Friedman explains what are extra dimensions of space and how the LHC might prove their existence.

The ATLAS experiment may also help to prove extra dimensions.
