Cyborgs to Care for Handicapped, Androids to Chase Terrorists, Controlled by Speech

A computer system to provide cyborgs and androids with artificial intelligence so they can think like people is revealed by inventor Boris  Kaplan (Guardinistr – 160, Munich, DE) in U.S. Patent Application  20100228695. An android is an artificially created robot, an automation, that resembles a human being.  A sensors network of the computer-system summarizes all reactions of all sense organs. The computer system of artificial intelligence is based on one natural language and language is used to control the android.

The programming would allow the android to uses the senses of sight, sound, touch, smell and tasting.  According to Kaplan a person would be able to control the cyborg with plain speech.

The computer system, or rather the cyborg or an android could be given to aid a mentally ill or neurologically ill patient or also a human being who was born mentally handicapped the possibility to live in or to be involved in this world on our (your or my) mental level, or rather to possess of the equivalent thoughts as all of us, and to live in or to be involved in this world with the equivalent thoughts.

Kaplan also envisions using the cyborg to increase the possibility to recognize, to catch and to isolate a criminal or a terrorist and for use in the prevention of criminality or terrorism. The criminal or the terrorist would have no chance to commit anything against the cyborg that would harm a human

The machine is able to think in the human way or rather to manipulate with its own thoughts. After its own thinking, or rather after manipulating with its own thoughts, the machine will come to its own decision for its future actions.

FIG. 1 shows a computer system of Artificial Intelligence of a cyborg or an android. Five sensors groups, the group of the sense of sight 1, the group of the sense of hearing 2, the group of the sense of smell 3, the group of the sense of taste 4, the group of the sense of touch 5, receive the incoming signals, summarize the signals to the particular signals, one from every group, i.e. a signal from the group of the sense of sight, a signal from the group of the sense of hearing, a signal from the group of the sense of smell, a signal from the group of the sense of taste, a signal from the group of the sense of touch, and transmit the signals at the same time.
