LG Electronics Patents Nanofilters for Indoor Air Conditioning Units

LG Electronics Inc. (Seoul, KR) earned U.S. Patent 7,670,414 for nanofilters for indoor air conditioning units. The filter includes an electric dust collector, a hepa filter, a nano carbon filter, a nano copper filter, and a nano silver filter.  The filters improve the efficiency of purifying room air. According to inventors Sang Won Cha and Hyun Hur, the apparatus includes a placement/ withdrawal guide for guiding the filter into the filter case so that the filter can be simply placed or withdrawn to/from the filter case in a sliding system.
