Fanavaran Nano-Meghyas Company, an Iranian company involved in the production of electrospinning and nanofibers devices, has fabricated a Capillary Electrophoresis device in Iran.
Capillary Electrophoresis device is designated for analysis of materials and their components. It has applications in clinical, medical, industrial and other libraries.
Laboratory-scale sample of the mentioned device is already produced by Fanavaran Nano-Meghyas Company in cooperation with Setayesh Shimi Zavareh Company and members of Shahid Beheshti University faculty.
According to Mr. Nojavan, one of the project members, the foreign counterparts of this device are produced by American, German, and Russian companies which cost more than $45,000.
However, it is expected that the Iranian one will be mass-produced at a price of $12,000 to $18,000. The device can be produced on demand at present.
