The European Commission has issued a call for proposals for topic areas and followed by a call for proposals for related projects and associated researcher grants under the work programme of the European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP).
Proposals are invited for the following research areas:
- metrology for industry;
- metrology for environment.

The indicative call budget per research area is $56.1 million (EUR 41.28 million).
The European Metrology Research Programme is a program of coordinated research and development that facilitates the closer integration of national research programs. The EMRP ensures collaboration between national measurement institutes, reducing duplication and increasing impact, while accelerating innovation and competitiveness.
